Host Jeff Davis talks with Mari Jones of Emeritus Vineyards. Mari Jones took over as President (of Fun) in 2019, following in her father’s footsteps. Brice Cutrer Jones recognized the unique terroir of the Hallberg Ranch, situated on Gold Ridge with its well-draining soils. He waited until the property became available in 1999, and decided to use dry farming, which produces balanced, elegant wines. Their debut vintage came in 2004.
