Host Clark Wolf talks with Albert Straus, founder of Straus Family Creamery, and Chef Duskie Estes, co-owner of Black Pig Meat Co. about all things local and sustainable animal and dairy farming, and a new measure regarding so-called ‘factory farms.’ Measure J, written by Members of the Coalition to End Factory Farming (closely associated with the animal liberation group Direct Action Everywhere, some of whom have been arrested for trespassing at local poultry farms), takes aim at “concentrated animal feeding operations,” or CAFOs.
