Rain is expected across Sonoma and Napa counties through midweek before skies clear and warmer weather returns.
Since Monday, scattered storms have dropped between a tenth and six-tenths of an inch, with the highest totals in the coastal mountains. Santa Rosa and Sonoma received about two-tenths, Yountville a tenth, and just under three-tenths near Healdsburg. A more organized band of rain is forecast today, bringing light to moderate rainfall before tapering to scattered showers into tonight.
Totals could reach three-quarters of an inch in the mountains, a half-inch in Santa Rosa, and a third in Napa. By tomorrow, skies will clear with highs climbing to the upper 70s and low 80s by Saturday.
