Caltrans will clear a homeless encampment off state-owned property near the Joe Rodota Trail on November 29th. The trail will be closed from Dutton Avenue to the Highway 12 overpass starting on November 28th. And, notices telling people to vacate the triangular piece of land will be posted on November 27th. The sweep was initially supposed to happen last month. But, a judge issued a temporary injunction after seven residents sued the state. That injunction was lifted late last month.
