SRPD Makes Fentanyl Bust Following Month-Long Investigation

The Santa Rosa Police Department Narcotics Team has arrested a major local fentanyl trafficker following a month-long investigation.

Yesterday, detectives detained 32-year-old Santa Rosa resident Coolidge Sledge on Sendero Lane. A subsequent search of his location recovered approximately 5,500 suspected fentanyl pills, which were being trafficked into Santa Rosa and surrounding areas.

Authorities estimate the street value of the seized pills to be around $50,000. Police noted that each pill is considered to contain at least one lethal dose of fentanyl. Sledge was arrested for possession of a narcotic for sale and booked into the Sonoma County jail.

His bail has been set at $300,000.
