John co-hosted along with Steve Garner the longest running radio food talk show in America on KSRO for 38 years.
He also hosted two shows on the Food Network.
In 2008 John was voted Cooking School Teacher of the Year by the International Association of Culinary Professionals.
John has written six books and is a two-time James Beard Award winner and a Julia Child Cookbook of The Year.
