A massive $100 million grant from Sonoma philanthropists Joan and Sandy Weill is kickstarting a $200 million cancer research collaboration between UCSF and Stanford Medicine.
According to a report from the Press Democrat, this “Weill Cancer Hub West” will use advanced AI and cellular engineering to accelerate cancer detection and treatment. The Weills’ gift aims to revolutionize the fight against cancer.
