Napa County’s daily flow of commuters is declining.
That’s one of the findings in the 2025 Napa Valley Travel Behavior Study, commissioned by the Napa Valley Transportation Authority. It says fewer workers are driving into the county and fewer residents are heading out.
And, more residents are working remotely, also causing people to stay home. This year, there is a 12 percent decline in inter-county trips compared to past years.
The study points to Napa County now having fewer residents and fewer jobs.
