The Press Democrat is reporting the Sonoma City Council has unanimously approved a plan to preserve 18 affordable housing units, preventing them from losing their protected status.
The council voted to authorize an agreement with Burbank Housing, a North Bay non-profit, to purchase these properties, which include the Setzer Senior Affordable Apartments and Maysonnave Apartments.
Sonoma is backing the effort with a $250,000 grant from its Affordable Housing Trust Fund.
