California Has Plan to Keep Abortion Pills If There’s a Federal Crackdown

There’s a plan in place for California to fight a possible crackdown on abortion pills. Attorney General Rob Bonta says they can share medication throughout the state without violating the Comstock Act. He and other leaders are prepared in case president-elect Donald Trump tries to use that law to ban clinics from sending abortion pills in the mail. He says if Trump oversteps his jurisdiction, they’ll hold him accountable and take him to court.
