The world is watching the Bay Area today for President Biden’s meeting with the leader of China. Both men arrived in San Francisco yesterday for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit, known as APEC. But they’ll step away for their first sit-down in a year to talk about issues such as the wars in Ukraine and the Middle East, human rights, climate change, trade, the military, fentanyl, and AI technology. The meeting is expected to last four hours.
