A woman is dead and a man injured after truck ran into a tree in Mendocino County. They were traveling early Thursday morning going east on State Route 128 when their truck went off the road and hit a tree. The female passenger died at the scene and the male driver, 43-year-old Timothy Marino of Ukiah, was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with major injuries. CHP are still investigating the crash and haven’t figured out why the truck went off the road. However, they don’t believe drugs or alcohol were involved.
